Thirty-five graduate students from Virtual Institute Russian affiliate university member, the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, will participate in a one-day training programme delivered by UNCTAD experts.
The lecture series will begin with Nicolas Maystre, of the Division on Globalization and Development Strategies, who will discuss post-crisis world economic policy challenges, followed by Kalman Kalotay, of the Division on Investment and Enterprise, who will give an overview of global and regional trends in foreign direct investment. The last lecture will be presented by Piergiuseppe Fortunato, of the Unit for Economic Cooperation and Integration among Developing Countries, who will introduce emerging development paths from South-South cooperation.
The students will also take part in a guided tour of the Palais des Nations.
