Indonesia Port Corporations (PELINDO), in collaboration with UNCTAD and Dublin Port Company, will train 19 middle managers from PELINDO I to IV on Module 5 and 6 of the UNCTAD/TrainForTrade Port Training Programme, namely, "Methods and tools of modern port management" and "Commercial and Economic Management".
The training will be delivered by the Dublin Port Company, along side with local instructors - many of whom were successful graduates trained by UNCTAD/TrainForTrade during the previous cycle of the programme.
The modules will focus on strategic planning for management, port statistics, technological solutions in ports, commercial management and marketing, economic management and financial management.
The training will be held in Balikpapan, Indonesia.
