UNCTAD/TrainForTrade Port Management Programme: Needs Assessment Mission at Kenya Ports Authority

​In the framework of the UNCTAD Port Management Programme (PMP), Mark Assaf, along with a port expert from Dublin Port Company, will conduct a needs assessment mission at Kenya Ports Authority from 4 – 6 February 2019.

The agenda includes meetings with the Managing Director and senior management of Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) to present the PMP’s main features and discuss the Road Map (Action Plan) for Kenya. A visit of the Port of Mombasa and general meeting with the representatives of the port community of Mombasa, including debriefing of the KPA PMP focal point as well as a visit to the KPA training center is also planned.

This mission is in response to the interest expressed by KPA in the Port Management Programme.
