Understanding International Standards and Recommendations for Trade Facilitation; Module 1 of UNCTAD Empowerment Programme for National Trade Facilitation Committees

​Financed by Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC), the event will address Malawi National Trade Facilitation Committee members. The objectives are to:

• Deliver Module 1 of UNCTAD's Empowerment Programme for the Members of the Malawi’ National Trade Facilitation Committee (NTFC);
• Increase NTFC members' understanding on the role of trade facilitation in improving trade;
• Improve Malawi NTFC members' knowledge on trade facilitation international standards and legal framework, including UN/CEFACT Recommendations and other UNECE tools, WCO Revised Kyoto Convention, and World Trade Organization (WTO) Trade Facilitation Agreement.
