Virtual Institute national workshop on quantitative methods for trade policy analysis for Kenyan academics

UNCTAD Virtual Institute (Vi) economist, Cristian Ugarte, will lead a workshop on quantitative methods for trade policy analysis for Kenyan academics on the campus of core Vi member, the University of Nairobi, August 6-9.

Based on the gravity model, the course will introduce tools, methods and relevant datasets for the analysis of bilateral trade, and provide applied hands-on exercises.
