Virtual Institute workshop on structural transformation and industrial policy

​The workshop is part of the UNCTAD Virtual Institute’s efforts to strengthen research capacities in developing countries. Funded by the One UN Fund for Tanzania, its objective is to provide an overview of the process of structural transformation and its linkages with development, and to equip participants with knowledge of the key policies that could accelerate the gradual transformation of the economic structure of developing economies.​

The workshop will be delivered by Piergiuseppe Fortunato, of UNCTAD's Division on Globalization and Development Strategies.
