Webinar on key issues in international investment policymaking for Egypt

UNCTAD is supporting the Government of Egypt and the General Authority For Investments (GAFI) in reforming Egypt’s international investment agreements (IIAs). In the context of this ongoing cooperation, the capacity building webinar will shed light on the latest global trends in IIAs and investor-State dispute settlement (ISDS) and will assess key challenges within the current IIA regime. More specifically, the webinar will discuss challenges in IIA negotiations, including for negotiating liberalization, taxation and financial services commitments.
