The WTO LDC Group, in collaboration with UNCTAD, is pleased to invite delegates to a capacity-building workshop focusing on the evolution of technical assistance to LDCs in WTO negotiations, with a spotlight on Rules of Origin. This session recognizes the achievements of the tailored work programme launched in 2006, later formalized as the UNCTAD-EUI initiative in 2014.
The workshop will provide an overview of progress made in strengthening LDCs' engagement in WTO deliberations, outlining key milestones achieved, and mapping the road ahead to the 14th WTO Ministerial Conference (MC14). Participants will also discuss budgetary considerations and the contribution of the upcoming UNCTAD 16 Conference.
