A full schedule for UNCTAD Secretary-General in October

Responding to invitations to present UNCTAD views and perspectives based on the results of its research and analytical work, UNCTAD Secretary-General Supachai Panitchpakdi will be participating in a series of international gatherings this month.

The international conferences on Dr. Supachai's schedule for October are:

3-5 October:	26th Conference of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce & Industry (CACCI):  "A Vision for Shared Prosperity" Kathmandu, Nepal.
9-11 October:	13th World Knowledge Forum: "The Great Breakthrough: New Solutions for the Global Crisis" Seoul, South Korea.
15-17 October:	ITC's 2012 World Export Development Forum: "Linking Growth Markets: New dynamics in global trade" Jakarta, Indonesia.
23-25 October:	Eighth African Development Forum (ADF-VIII): "Governing and Harnessing Natural Resources for Africa's Development", Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
25 October:	Special Event on Debt Restructuring UN General Assembly, New York.

Expenses for participation in the conferences in Kathmandu, Seoul, and Jakarta are being borne by the event organizers.
