The Global Education Conference on Creative Industries Shanghai 2011 aimed to identify the critical factors for Shanghai to better support the development of cultural and creative industries and the city´s transformation towards a creative economy.
Representatives from over 50 organizations from nearly 20 countries and regions gathered at this 3-days event to discuss the hot topics which cover: the challenge for talent development; creative approaches in education and professional development; the role of higher education and cross-sector collaboration.
The UNCTAD Academic Exchange Network was officially launched at the conference.
The conference was presented by Shanghai Theatre Academy and supported by UNCTAD Creative Economy & Industries Programme.
