Bora Kamwanya is Deputy Secretary General of the PAN- African Youth Union.
He was born in Kinshasa, DRC. He graduated in International Relations and is pursuing a master’s in business management.
Bora has worked with multiple Diaspora NGO and periodically advises the EU, the AU, the UN and the ACP among others on topics such as youth inclusion in all spaces. Since December 2017, Bora is serving in the Executive Committee of the Pan-African Youth Union as Deputy Secretary General in charge of Diaspora Affairs. Bora organized and took part in different Youth conferences and high level panels in Africa, Europe and the Caribbean.
Bora was part of the United Nations Lisbon+21 Task force and the Commonwealth International Task force organizing the Commonwealth Youth Forum.
Bora is an active member of the African Union Diaspora Youth Initiative, convened by the African Union delegation to the EU and the Secretary General of ACP Young Professionals Network (ACP YPN).
