Enhancing regional connectivity requires among others investing in regional air and maritime services, collaboration between governments, industry, the private sector, and international organizations.

This collaborative approach is the cornerstone of developing sustainable business models and infrastructure.

The session will conclude with a set of action-oriented recommendations for enhanced maritime and air transport regional integration. This will help SIDS to better integrate into global transport and trading networks.

The session targets Government officials and policymakers, non- governmental organizations, industry, civil society groups, the private sector, financing institutions, development partners and all parties interested or involved in issues of relevance to transport, logistics, trade, and supply chains, including in SIDS.
