Closing ceremony of e-Learning course on Gender perspectives in Trade Facilitation Reforms

This closing ceremony of the e-Learning course on Gender perspectives in Trade Facilitation Reforms* will take place on August 26. During the course, participants were able to learn from international and national experts about trade facilitation and gender.

The course includes participants from 12 African countries. It gave a better understanding of how trade facilitation and gender issues are interlinked and why discussing trade facilitation through a gender lens is essential. Participants are able to identify who are cross-border women traders, what specific challenges they face and how the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement addresses those challenges.
