This webinar is part of UNCTAD e-learning course on Gender Perspective on Trade Facilitation Reforms*. The focus of this webinar will be to show participants practical initiatives and best practices to mainstream gender while implementing trade facilitation initiatives.

The course targets members of National Trade Facilitation Committees of 12 African countries. It gives a better understanding of how trade facilitation and gender issues are interlinked and why discussing trade facilitation through a gender lens is essential. At the end of the course, participants will also be able to identify who are cross-border women traders, what specific challenges they face and how the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement addresses those challenges.
