The Intensive executive training* for members of the NTFC Secretariat aims at reinforcing the capacities of officials in charge of the National Trade Facilitation Committee. By the end of the executive training, chairpersons and members of the NTFC Secretariats of Bolivia, Ecuador, Honduras, and Peru will have acquired skills to effectively run and chair an NTFC, monitor and evaluate trade facilitation reforms, and develop resource mobilization strategies.
Additionally, during the training session, the different national teams will:
- Draft or update Secretariat Terms of Reference and a secretariat action plan for 2024.
- Continue developing leadership and effective communication skills.
- Learn about the latest updates in the Reform Tracker tool.
- Visit the cargo operators’ facilities at the port and airport of Callao.
- Exchange best practices with other countries in the region.
