This event will mark the launch of the course on Monitoring and Evaluation for Trade Facilitation*. This course is part of the UNCTAD Empowerment Programme for National Trade Facilitation Committees (NTFC).
The course is designed to strengthen NTFC members’ capacities on monitoring and evaluation. By the end of this course, NTFC members will understand the main concepts of monitoring and evaluation and how they are relevant in the context of trade facilitation. They will also become more familiar with the planning tools and approaches, as well as the key components of a monitoring plan. Finally, this course will show them the main steps they need to follow in order to conduct an evaluation.
This first edition will be delivered in selected English-speaking countries participating in UNCTAD’s project “Accelerate Trade Facilitation”, financed by the United Kingdom.
