Meeting of the Technical Committee of the ACOM project in Angola

Background and objectives:

The ministerial-level Technical Committee of the ACOM project funded by the European Union in Angola had its meeting on 19 December 2022. UNCTAD implements one of the original three components of the ACOM project, the EU-UNCTAD Joint Programme for Angola: Train for Trade II. The objective of the meeting was to prepare and discuss the forthcoming Steering Committee of the ACOM project. 

Results achieved: 

UNCTAD presented the results achieved by the Programme so far, challenges, lessons learned, and recommendations, as well as the next year’s work plan, and these were presented to the Technical Committee members for reflection and comments with a view to preparing the next session of the Steering Committee.

The next Steering Committee meeting is proposed for February 2023, to be held in a presential format. The Steering Committee will approve the work plan of the Programme for 2023, including the possible extension of the implementation period.

Reunião do Comité Técnico do projecto ACOM em Angola

Antecedentes e objetivos:

O Comité Técnico a nível ministerial do projecto ACOM financiado pela União Europeia em Angola teve a sua reunião a 19 de Dezembro de 2022. A CNUCED implementa uma das três componentes originais do projecto ACOM, o Programa Conjunto UE-CNUCED para Angola: Train for Trade II. O objectivo da reunião é preparar e discutir o próximo Comité de Pilotagem do projecto ACOM. 

Resultados alcançados:

A CNUCED apresentou os resultados alcançados pelo Programa até agora, desafios, lições aprendidas e recomendações, bem como o plano de trabalho do próximo ano, e estes foram apresentados aos membros do Comité Técnico para reflexão e comentários com vista à preparação da próxima sessão do Comité Directivo.

A próxima reunião do Comité Directivo é proposta para Fevereiro de 2023, a realizar em formato presencial. O Comité Directivo aprovará o plano de trabalho do Programa para 2023, incluindo a possível extensão do período de implementação.
