The Spanish-speaking network of UNCTAD’s Port Management Programme/TrainForTrade is organizing the delivery Module 3 on "The functioning of a Port System" in collaboration with Bureau for Maritime, River, Lake and Merchant Marine Interests of the Ministry of Defense of Bolivia and Port Jennefer.

The training will take place from 17 to 20 March 2024 and is intended for the 4th cohort, of 25 middle port managers. The training course will be conducted by the Director General of the Port Authority of Gijon (Spain) and international port experts from UNCTAD.

The Port Management Programme offers technical assistance; organizes training courses, workshops and regional meetings; conducts research and analysis on port-related issues and port performance indicators.

25 port managers (including 12 women) from Peruvian port communities
