The Spanish-speaking Network of UNCTAD’s Port Management Programme/TrainForTrade, together with Haina International Terminals and the Port of Santo Domingo Sansouci, and with the support of the Port Authority of Valencia, is organizing the delivery of Module 3: “The Functioning of a Port System” from the Modern Port Management course, from 13 to 15 October 2025, for 24 port managers (including 4 women).

The module will be delivered by an expert from the Port Authority of Valencia, Spain.

UNCTAD’s TrainForTrade Port Management Programme supports port communities in their pursuit of efficient and competitive port management.

To promote international trade and foster economic development, the programme builds port networks that bring together public, private, and international entities. The goal is to share knowledge and experience among port operators and to strengthen talent management and human resource development in port communities.
