The Spanish-Speaking Network of UNCTAD’s TrainForTrade Port Management Programme, together with the Directorate General of Maritime, River, and Lake Interests and Merchant Marine of the Ministry of Defense, and Puerto Jennefer, are organizing the delivery of Module 4: "Challenges of Sustainable Ports" of the Modern Port Management course in Bolivia. The training will take place from 27 to 30 October in Santa Cruz for 16 middle port managers (including 1 woman) from Bolivia’s port communities, as part of the 5th cohort.

The module will be delivered by port instructors from Peru, another from the Dominican Republic, and from Argentina.

The Port Management Program provides technical assistance, training, research and analysis on port issues, including indicators, and organizes regional port meetings.
