The Spanish-speaking Network of the UNCTAD’s TrainForTrade Port Management Program organized the dissemination of Module 5 on “Methods and Tools of Port Management” of the Modern Port Management Course, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Maritime, River, Lake Interests and Merchant Marine of the Ministry of Defense and the Port of Jennefer.
The training took place from June 10 to 12 for the 4th cohort, comprising 25 administrators (2 women) from the country's port community and was conducted by an expert from the National Port Authority (Peru) and an expert from Puerto Dock Sud (Argentina).
The Port Management Programme offers technical assistance; organizes training courses, workshops and regional meetings; conducts research and analysis on port-related issues and port performance indicators.
