The Spanish-speaking Network of the UNCTAD’s TrainForTrade Port Management Program will organize the delivery of Module 8 on “Technical Management and Human Resources Development” of the Modern Port Management Course, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Maritime, River, Lake Interests and Merchant Marine of the Ministry of Defense and the Port of Jennefer.
The training will be conducted by an expert from the Port Authority of Gijon and will feature the participation of the Vice Minister of Defense and Integral Development Cooperation from the Ministry of Defense of Bolivia, as well as the Director General of Maritime, River, Lacustrine Interests, and Merchant Marine.
The Port Management Programme offers technical assistance; organizes training courses, workshops and regional meetings; conducts research and analysis on port-related issues and port performance indicators.
