Capacity-building activities for public and private sector representatives were organised on 5 and 6 September on investment policies, investment promotion and responsible investment in agriculture as a first step to initiate the implementation of the Investment Policy Review recommendations. The feedback received from participants was very positive.
Background
In the context of the joint EU-UNCTAD Programme for Angola: Train for Trade II, UNCTAD will provide training on investment policies, investment promotion in agribusiness to Angolan civil servants. The training builds on the findings of the Investment Policy Review of Angola, which focused on attracting investments in agribusiness that are conducive to the achievement of the sustainable development goals.

A formação será baseada nos resultados preliminares da Revisão da Política de Investimentos de Angola, que se centrou sobre a atração de investimentos em agronegócio que contribuam para o alcance dos objetivos de desenvolvimento sustentável.
