This initiative is a collaborative effort led by ECLAC, with the participation of several United Nations agencies, including UNCTAD, UNESCO, UNIDO, and UNU-MERIT.
It is tailored for professionals and policymakers in the public sector working across various STI-related fields. The workshop offers foundational insights for those newly engaged in STI policy, as well as a valuable opportunity for experienced practitioners to update and deepen their knowledge.
Participation is also open to individuals from academia, the private sector, and civil society, particularly those with a strong interest in contributing to sustainable development through science and innovation.
The third session of the workshop explores key dimensions of entrepreneurship development policies, with a particular emphasis on innovative entrepreneurship. It also introduces a range of policy instruments through illustrative examples, offering participants practical insights into approaches that foster entrepreneurial ecosystems.
