UNCTAD trains port operators from the Namibian Ports Authority on "Future Challenges to Ports"

The Namibian Ports Authority (Namport) will train twenty-three port operators from the local port communities on “Commercial and Economic Management” – Module 6 of the UNCTAD’s TrainForTrade Port Training Programme, part of the Human Resources Development Section. The training will be delivered by senior managers from Port of Cork and Dublin Port Company, along side local instructors. Participants will be trained on the subjects of commercial management and marketing, as well as economic and financial management.

*TrainForTrade is a programme of the Human Resources Development Section/Knowledge Sharing, Training and Capacity Development Branch/Division on Technology and Logistics/UNCTAD.
