The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) has a project promoting technology assessment (TA) in the energy and agricultural sectors in Africa to accelerate progress in science, technology and innovation.
After the virtual regional workshop organised by UNCTAD in July 2023, Seychelles, South Africa, and Zambia have made progress on steps 4 and 5 of the Technology Assessment (TA) methodology. In preparation for the production of the interim TA report, a virtual workshop has taken place on 26 October 2023 to review the work completed thus far and to facilitate the sharing of experiences among the three beneficiary countries regarding project implementation, challenges encountered, and lessons learned.
All members of the steering committee and expert group of Seychelles, South Africa and Zambia are invited to participate in this virtual workshop. International experts having experience in undertaking technology assessment are also invited to share their expertise and insights.
