This Webinar is the official launch of the online training titled “The Gender Perspective in Trade Facilitation Reforms."

It aims to demystify how trade facilitation and gender issues are interconnected and why it is essential to discuss trade facilitation through a gender lens.

It provides a better understanding of who female cross-border traders are and the specific challenges they face and how the Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFA) of the World Trade Organization (WTO) responds to these challenges. Finally, the module proposes a way forward to integrate a gender perspective in trade facilitation reforms. All over a period of one month, between October 25 and November 25, 2021.
