The objective of the first DWM Working Group meeting was to decide on a working procedure to design the DWM.
The discussions reflected an attempt to provide a legal framework for the core DWM objectives and elements identified in the brainstorming meeting held on 1 February 2013.
Important ideas were exchanged as to the choice of legal instruments and possible combinations given the variety of contexts in sovereign debt restructuring contexts.
Based on the backgroud paper, an incremental approach to the DWM design was debated.
