Effective use of the Reform Tracker in monitoring and evaluating the progress of national trade facilitation reforms and in developing a resource mobilization strategy
The workshop aims to assist the Zambia National Trade Facilitation Committee (NTFC) members and relevant focal points on their coordination and collaborative work through the effective use of the Reform Tracker in monitoring and evaluating the progress of national trade facilitation reforms and in developing resource mobilization strategy.
For the workshop, participants are to complete several courses on the UNCTAD e-Learning platform. Prior to the workshop, they will learn online* about how to develop a national trade facilitation roadmap and how to use a reform tracker as a monitoring tool. During the workshop, they will be equipped with the knowledge on how to monitor and evaluate trade facilitation initiatives and reforms and develop a resource mobilization strategy.
Implementing the newly acquired capacity through practical exercises, they will prepare their contribution toward updating the Zambia NTFC meeting, which will be held on the last day of the workshop. The exercise will streamline the use of the reform tracker** in the preparation of the meeting, in the presentation of the updated status of trade facilitation initiatives and reforms during the meeting, and in building the matrix to map out upcoming actions for advancing the initiatives and reforms.
This workshop is made possible through the financial support of the Government of the United Kingdom acting through HM Revenue and Customs.
