From nowcasting statistical data and enhancing efficiency in trade-related data collection and analysis to chatbots assisting users with complex international investment policies, UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD) is actively integrating artificial intelligence (AI) in its work.

The exhibition offers a bird's-eye view of AI and data science initiatives across UNCTAD programs.

These include applying AI to enhance statistical data processing and improve the efficiency of internal data collection and analysis. The exhibition also showcases applications for beneficiary countries in areas such as informal cross-border trade.

Live demonstrations will allow visitors to interact with AI-powered systems UNCTAD has released and is developing.
