Transnational Corporations (TNCs) are mainly based in developed countries, and are increasingly being established in developing countries as well. The World Investment Report 2005: Transnational Corporations and the Internationalization of R&D (1) includes the list of the world´s top 100 TNCs and the list of the top 50 TNCs from developing economies. Table 1 and 2 below show the top 25 TNCs from both lists.
