Fulfilling the promise of the globe's ambitious 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development will require a new approach that goes beyond statistics to integrate evaluation into implementation efforts, according to experts at an UNCTAD event on how to review progress.
UNCTAD delivers technical training on measuring and evaluation of UN Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development to Tanzania and Zanzibar, June 29 - July 6, 2017. Statisticians and evaluators from UNCTAD ran a series of seminars and technical workshops in Tanzania and Zanzibar.
Promoting development, peace and security in the Great Lakes region of Africa will be in focus during an upcoming meeting organized by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the Office of the Special Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General for the Great Lakes region.
