General Haji Abubaker Jeje Odongo is currently the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uganda and represents Orungo Constituency in the National Parliament.
Prior to this appointment, he was Minister of Internal Affairs from 2016-2021. He has held other cabinet portfolios including as Minister of State for Defence and Minister of State for Environment. In his other previous capacity, he served as Army Commander between 1998-2001 and held several other positions while in military service, including representing the Army in Parliament.
Gen. Odongo holds MA in International Studies from Nairobi University, BA (Hon) in Education from Makerere University. He underwent military training and was commissioned from Monduli Academy in 1979.
Other courses attended include Logistics command from Monterey- USA and National Defense College- Karen, Kenya.

The Hon. Narayan Kaji Shrestha “Prakash” was appointed as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs on 6 March 2024.
Prior to this, he served as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs from 30 March 2023 to 5 March 2024, preceded by a brief stint as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport from 26 December 2022 to 30 March 2023.
Mr. Shrestha’s earlier leadership of Foreign Ministry include the periods as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs from September 2011 to February 2012 and May 2012 to March 2013.
Mr. Shrestha holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Tribhuvan University and has authored books and articles on Marxism and Nepali Revolution, theoretical Marxism, history of world communism, and contemporary politics.

Thea Lee was named Deputy Undersecretary for International Affairs on May 10, 2021. She has been advocating for workers’ rights, both domestically and internationally, for over thirty years. She was president of the Economic Policy Institute, a progressive pro-worker Washington think tank, from January 2018 to May 2021 and an international trade economist at EPI in the 1990s. From 1997 to 2017, Ms. Lee worked at the AFL-CIO, a voluntary federation of 56 national and international labor unions that represent 12.5 million working men and women. At the AFL-CIO, she served as deputy chief of staff, policy director, and chief international economist.
Ms. Lee has served on the State Department Advisory Committee on International Economic Policy, the Export-Import Bank Advisory Committee, and on the Boards of Directors of the National Bureau of Economic Research, the Congressional Progressive Caucus Center, the Center for International Policy, and the Coalition on Human Needs, among others. She served on the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission from 2018 to 2020. In 2022, she was appointed to the Congressional-Executive Committee on China.
Ms. Lee holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and a bachelor’s degree in economics cum laude from Smith College.
Kjell Stefan Löfven is a Swedish politician who is currently serving as Co-Chair of the High-level Advisory Board on Effective Multilateralism.
He was Prime Minister of Sweden from 2014 to 2021, the leader of the Swedish Social Democratic Party from 2012 to 2021, and previously the president of the Swedish Industrial and Metal Workers Union.
In 2016, he launched the Global Deal, a global initiative for social dialogue and better conditions in the labour market.
He has also been co-chair of the ILO’s Global Commission on the Future of Work, together with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, and initiated, together with the Prime Minister of Spain, the Leaders’ Network for reinforcing multilateralism.
Mr. Sahib Mammadov is currently serving as the Deputy Minister of Economy in the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Previously, he held the position of head of the State Service for Antimonopoly and Control over the Consumer Market.
Since 2009 he worked as the head of the Department of Regional Development and State Programs of the Ministry of Economic Development. In 2004-2007 he worked in the Ministry of Economic Development as a senior consultant, sector manager, deputy head of department and head of the Sustainable Development and Regional Policy Department. In 2003-2004 he worked as an information officer at the Information and Technical Support Office of the European Commission in Azerbaijan, "Europe House", and at the Azerbaijan representation of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
In 2002 Mr. Mammadov worked as an expert in the Azerbaijan representation of the UN International Organization for Migration on migration issues and in the European Union TACIS project in Azerbaijan on the implementation of the partnership and cooperation agreement between the European Union and Azerbaijan.
Mr. Mammadov started his career in 2001 as an expert assistant on the European Union TACIS project at the European Consultants Organization (ECO) in the Kingdom of Belgium.
In 2022 graduated from the Harvard Business School's "Economics for Managers" Certificate Program Harvard.
In 2008 graduated from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, majoring in finance and credit. In 2001-2007 successfully finished the courses on the Fundamentals of UN Program and Project Management (Azerbaijan), Asian Development Bank Investments (Laos), UNIDO's "Food Packaging and Sustainability Tracking" (Turkey), "Supporting Regional Economic Development" within the European Union Establishment Project (Ireland).
Mr. Sahib Mammadov holds a bachelor's degree (2000) and a master's degree (2001) in international law from the Kyiv State University.
Nguyen Minh Hang was appointed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Government of Vietnam in October 2023.
Ms. Nguyen Minh Hang started her diplomatic career in 2000 and has held many positions associated with the process of international integration, multilateral diplomacy, and economic diplomacy for development. country.
She has served as Deputy Director, Department of Multilateral Economic Cooperation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Minister Counselor, Vietnamese Embassy in Singapore; Deputy Director General, APEC 2017 National Secretariat; Acting Director, then Director, Department of Multilateral Economic Cooperation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, cum Director of the Economic General Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Ms. Nguyen Minh Hang holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam and a Master's degree in International Relations in the United Kingdom.

Tatiana Molcean was appointed Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Secretary of UNECE on 1 September 2023.
Prior to her appointment, Ms. Molcean was the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Moldova to the United Nations Office, World Trade Organization and other international organizations in Geneva (since 2020).
Ms. Molcean served as State Secretary and Deputy Minister for Multilateral and Bilateral Cooperation in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (2017-2020), Deputy Director General for European Integration and Head of the Division for Economic and Sector Cooperation with the European Union (2012-2017) and Head of the Division for Economic Cooperation and Sectorial Coordination at the General Directorate for European Integration (2004-2008). A career diplomat, she has also served as Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova to Sweden (2008-2011).
Ms. Molcean holds a LLM Degree in Law from the Faculty of International Law at Moldova State University and completed the Multilateral Diplomacy Program from the Graduate Institute of Geneva, Switzerland.

Dr. Célestin Monga is professor of public policy (economics) at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. He is also Faculty Associate at the Center for International Development at Harvard University and Fellow at the Harvard University Center for African Studies.
Since 2016, he has also been part-time Professor of Economics at the University of Paris, Panthéon-Sorbonne and Research Professor at Peking University’s Institute of New Structural Economics.
Prior to his current life in academia Monga held various board and senior executive positions in academia, financial services, and international development institutions, serving most recently as Managing Director at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Vice-President and Chief Economist of the African Development Bank Group, and Senior Economic Adviser/Program Director at the World Bank Group.
Monga has published extensively on various dimensions of economic and political development. His books have been translated into several languages and are widely used as teaching tools in academic institutions around the world.
Dr. Monga holds graduate degrees from MIT, Harvard University, and the Universities of Paris and Pau.

The Hon. Mr. John Mutorwa is currently serving as the Deputy Prime Minister, whilst at the same time, retaining his position as Minister of Works and Transport. He was appointed in the Deputy Prime Minister role on 09 February 2024.
Following Namibia's independence in 1990, Mr. Mutorwa joined Government, as the Regional Commissioner for the Kavango Region, Omega and Tsumkwe Areas. In 1992, he became a member of both Parliament and Cabinet. He further served in several Ministerial portfolios in the Government, ranging from being the Deputy Minister of the then Department of Water Affairs; Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports; Deputy Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources; Minister of Basic Education and Culture; Minister of Basic Education, Sport and Culture; Minister of Youth, National Service, Sport and Culture; Minister of Agriculture, Water and Forestry; and now the Minister of Works and Transport.
Mr. Mutorwa holds a BA Degree, majoring in History and Psychology, from the University of Fort Hare, South Africa; Higher Education Teaching Diploma; BA (Hons in History) from the University of Namibia and a M.Ed (Interdisciplinary Studies in Education) from University of the Montana, (USA) and a Certificate in Executive Program for Leaders in Development from Harvard University (USA).
H.E. Mr. Celso Luiz Nunes Amorim, was appointed as Chief Advisor for Foreign Policy to the President, Brazil On 5 January 2023.
He is a Brazilian diplomat who served as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 20 July 1993 to 31 December 1994 and again from 1 January 2003 to 31 December 2010. He was Minister of Defence from 5 August 2011 to 31 December 2014.
Before his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amorim served as Brazil's ambassador to the United Kingdom.
