
Zhomart Yeleussizov the chief expert of Division of non-tariff regulation of Department of foreign trade of Ministry of trade and integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan. One of the duties of Zhomart Yeleusizov is to coordinate the implementation of the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement, as well as participates in the development of the Methodology for the Study of the time of release of goods. In October 2020, at the meeting of the WTO Committee on Trade Facilitation, he presented the results of the Republic of Kazakhstan on implementation of the provisions of the WTO FTA. In November 2020, he took part in the 16th session of the SPECA Trade Working Group in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
He received the Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business Program at American Intercontinental University, London, UK in 2013 and received Master degree of International Business Program at HULT International Business School, London, UK in 2014. In particular, Zhomart Yeleussizov participated in the WTO Regional Trade Policy Course for countries of Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and the Caucasus organized by the WTO Institute for Training and Technical Cooperation and received the Diploma, as well he took participation in WTO Advanced Trade Policy Course in Geneva, Switzerland and received the Diploma. He believes that the tools used in trade facilitation will make a significant contribution to the development of trade, as well as positively affect the country's image in the international arena
Kjersti Aass works for the UN Global Compact and leads the Maritime Just Transition Task Force, an initiative started by the International Chamber of Shipping, International Transport Workers' Federation, the International Maritime Organization, the International Labour Organization and UN Global Compact to ensure that shipping's response to the climate emergency puts seafarers at the heart of the solution.
In addition to her work with the UN Global Compact, she serves as Sustainability Development Director at Yara International. This large industrial and crop nutrition company is committed to driving a green transition in agriculture and shipping through clean ammonia production.
Kjersti also serves on the board of Höegh Autoliners, a global shipping company in the RoRo segment. Kjersti's previous roles include working with Doctors without Borders in Ethiopia and Afghanistan, and with the Red Cross in Nepal. She's on the emergency response unit roster of the Norwegian Red Cross.
Former Director of the FAO Fisheries and Aquaculture Division, Dr Lahsen Ababouch works currently as expert on fisheries and aquaculture value chains for various UN agencies, academia, industry and NGOs.
Before joining FAO in 2000, he was Professor at the King Hassan II Institute of Agronomy and Veterinary Medicine, in Rabat, Morocco, where he held teaching, research and advisory positions for industry outreach, trade agreements and agribusiness. He has authored/co-authored over 130 papers, books and book chapters, and presented over 250 communications.
He was awarded the King Baudouin Award for Excellence in Research by the International Foundation for Science (Sweden, 1996); the Distinguished Leadership Award for Internationals by the University of Minnesota (USA, 2004), and the Special recognition Award of the International Association of Seafood Professionals (2009) . He was nominated a University of Minnesota Hunger Fighter, on the occasion of the 50th Nobel Peace Prize Anniversary of Dr. Norman Borlaug (2021).

H.E. Ms. Hend Abdalrahman Al-Muftah is the Permanent Representative of Qatar to the United Nations Office, the WTO, and other international organizations in Geneva. She was appointed in July 2022.
H.E. Ms. Al-Muftah has had a wide-ranging career since 2004, including different academic, research, and professional positions. From May 2015 to January 2021, she was Vice President for Administration and Finance and Associate Professor at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies. She taught at Qatar University from 1990 to 2016, starting as a teaching assistant, and finishing as an associate professor of management (2010 to 2016). She was Executive Director of the Childhood Cultural Centre of the Qatar Foundation from April 2012 to September 2014. She also served as Director of Human Resources at Qatar University from 2004 to 2008.
In 2017, H.E. Ms. Al-Muftah was appointed as a member of the Shura Council of Qatar, one of four ladies joining the Council for the first time for a four-year term. She has been a member of, or consultant to various national and regional bodies and has many publications.
H.E. Ms. Al-Muftah has a Ph.D. in human capital formation-human resources management from Exeter University, United Kingdom (2004). She also has a master’s degree in management science from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, United Kingdom (1999), and a bachelor’s degree in public administration from Qatar University, Qatar (1990).

Hossam Abdelkarim is head of Maritime Economics Section, Suez Canal authority. responsible for Economic research studies for Suez Canal including Suez Canal tolls study.

Judge Mohamed Abdelsalam is an Egyptian judge, legal expert, and public figure.
Judge Abdelsalam currently serves as Secretary-General of the Muslim Council of Elders and Secretary-General of the Zayed Award for Human Fraternity. He previously held the position of legal and legislative advisor to His Eminence Ahmed El-Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, for 8 years. He was awarded papal knighthood by the late His Holiness Pope Francis for efforts advancing tolerance and interfaith dialogue. He is the first Arab and Muslim to be awarded this accolade.
Judge Abdelsalam is also Co-President of Religions for Peace, member of Al-Azhar's Center for Interreligious Dialogue, and member of the Board of Trustees of the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence.
He is a graduate of Al-Azhar University.
Ramatu Abdulkadir holds a Ph.D. in Transport Logistics from Liverpool John Moores University, Liverpool, UK. Before joining the Kühne Foundation, Ms. Abdulkadir made significant contributions to healthcare supply chain transformations in Nigeria, in collaboration with governments, donors, and private sector partners.
She led the transformation of the Kaduna State health supply chain systems, serving over 10 million people to save lives. She is recognised for her contribution to logistics and supply chain management as a policy analyst, development strategist, circular economy champion, and subject matter expert.
Ms. Abdulkadir is committed to assisting organisations and policymakers in resolving intricate supply chain problems by leveraging her knowledge and experience in creating impactful and sustainable solutions. Her collaborative and result-driven approach has made her a trusted partner in addressing the dynamic landscape of supply chain capacity development. She has been engaged in teaching and supply chain capacity building both locally and internationally.
Rukaiyah Abdullah is a Solicitor at Herbert Smith Freehills. She is a young West African social entrepreneur and commercial lawyer with strong values on paying forward and giving back to society.
Rukaiyah has worked and lead numerous SDG related youth groups including the Australian chapter of the UNCTAD Youth Action Hubs. Rukaiyah has additionally sat on a Board to represent the interests of young ethnic minority groups in Austraila. Rukaiyah currently works as a lawyer at a Global Band 1 ESG law firm.
Rukaiyah is also the CEO of a luxury lifestyle social enterprise that was established to assist with contributions towards bridging the development divide across the African continent.
