Ms. Zambrano is an Undersecretary of Fisheries Resources in Ecuador’s Ministry of Production, Foreign Trade, Investments and Fisheries. Previously she served in Ecuador’s Navy as the lieutenant commander of marines, worked as an advisor on operational law and human Rights, registrar of naval property, as well as Commissioner of Third Municipal Government (Municipality of Guayaquil, Ecuador).
Ms. Zambrano is an advocate with a Master’s degree in Administrative Law (Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil, Ecuador), international diploma of specialization in human rights, transparency and public policies against corruption (Instituto Internacional Henry Dunant , Santiago de Chile, Chile), as well as Master’s degree in Sustainable Agribusiness Administration (Escuela Politécnica de Administración de Empresas, Guayaquil, Ecuador).

Clovis Zapata is the Representative of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization - UNIDO for Brazil.
He has more than 25 years of experience working as an economist for various international organizations, including the World Bank, UNDP, WWF, and the ESRC BRASS Centre. He has held positions in the Brazilian Federal Government and in academia in in the United Kingdom, United States, Brazil, and Italy.
He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Environmental Economics from Cardiff University, United Kingdom, and the University of California, USA, and BA and MSc degrees in Economics.
Simonetta Zarrilli is the chief of the Trade, Gender and Development Programme of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), a programme she launched in 2010 and has been leading since. Under her leadership, the Programme provides analytical, policy and capacity-building support to member countries on the gender implications of trade policy.
Prior to leading this work area, Ms. Zarrilli worked on several trade and development related topics and carried out analytical, intergovernmental and technical cooperation activities in those areas.
Ms. Zarrilli was educated in law and international relations at the Università degli Studi di Siena in Italy, at the College of Europe in Belgium, at the Université de Strasbourg in France and at the University of Dundee in Scotland.


A lawyer by training, Dr. Helge Elisabeth Zeitler has been since April 2024 Director for UN and EU affairs, also covering G7/20 and trade, at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. Prior to this post, she held different positions in the international directorate of the European Commission’s Environment Department, with topics ranging from deforestation-free supply chains and international water policy to environmental cooperation at the UN and under various multilateral agreements. Helge Zeitler also served in the past at the EU Delegation to the UN in New York, at the UN International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda in Tanzania and at the German Foreign Ministry.

Mr. Xiangchen Zhang has been Deputy-Director General of WTO since 1 June 2021. He has long and extensive experience on WTO issues, trade negotiations and policy research.
Prior to his current position, he served as Vice Minister of Commerce of China. He was China's Ambassador to the WTO from 2017 to 2020, Deputy China International Trade Representative (vice-minister level) from 2015 to 2017, Assistant Minister of Commerce from 2013 to 2015. He also held several other senior positions in the Ministry of Commerce, including Director General for Policy Research from 2011 to 2013, and Director General for WTO Affairs from 2005 to 2008. In 2005, he was appointed chief negotiator for China-Australia FTA. From 1992 to 2001, he was a leading aide to China's Chief Representative for GATT/WTO accession negotiations.
Mr. Zhang holds a bachelor's degree in law, a master's degree in international relations and a PhD in international politics.

Degree in Accounting and Auditing. Mr. Zharinov has been worked for more than 25 years in managing PAO development and capacity building programs. He coordinates the Eurasian Regional Initiative on Corporate Accountability (EUARICA) and overseas IPSAS monitoring committee in EICPA regional accounting grouping.
Currently, his professional efforts are focused on:
- implementation of ESG reporting;
- improving financial reporting, management of corporate and public finances in the Eurasian countries;
- PAO capacity building;
- bringing together professional accounting organizations, policymakers and regulators from the Eurasian region to discuss ways to facilitate and promote the adoption and implementation of high-quality internationally recognized professional standards for accounting and reporting.
