
H.E. Mr. Jérôme Bonnafont was appointed Permanent Representative of France to the United Nations Office at Geneva in September 2021.
Prior to his appointment in Geneva, Mr. Bonnafont was, since September 2020, working on human resources policies at the Ministry of European and Foreign Affairs, after having been Advisor to the Prime Minister, from January 2020 to July 2020. Previously, between 2015 and 2019, Mr. Bonnafont was the Director of North Africa and the Middle East at the Ministry of European and Foreign Affairs. From 2011 to 2012, he was Chief of Staff to the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Mr. Bonnafont served as the Ambassador of France to Spain (2012-2015) and to India (2007-2011). He was Counselor at the Permanent Mission of France to the United Nations in New York (1993-1995) and at the Embassy of France in Kuwait (1991-1993), as well as Secretary at the Embassy of France in India (1986-1989).
The new Permanent Representative also worked as the Advisor for Global Affairs and the Spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic (1997-2007), Head of the International Affairs Department of the Ministry of the Environment (1996-1997), and in the Directorate of Legal Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1995-1996).
Born on 8 January 1961, Mr. Bonnafont is a graduate of the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris and the École Nationale d'Administration.

Pierre Bonthonneau is a Senior Trade Facilitation Adviser at the International Trade Center in Geneva. He has over 15 years of experience in international trade, working with logistics services providers, strategy consulting firm and UN organizations.
Pierre worked in the logistics industry in Africa where he was responsible for the clearing and forwarding activities of a logistics services provider. He also worked the for the Boston Consulting Group, a business strategy consulting firm, where he was involved, among other, on the definition of export strategies for developing countries and supporting multinational in developing their supply chain on the African continent.
Since he joined ITC as an expert in trade facilitation, Pierre has assisted over 40 countries in implementing their obligations under the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement.
Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey is a Ghanaian politician, diplomat and lawyer who has served as the seventh Secretary-General of the Commonwealth of Nations since 1 April 2025.
Prior to her appointment, she served as Ghana’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration from January 2017 to January 2024 and was a member of Ghana’s National Security Council. Her tenure was marked by significant reforms in foreign policy delivery, which strengthened Ghana’s diplomatic footprint and introduced transformative improvements in consular services through digitisation and innovation.
During her time as Foreign Minister, she chaired the Council of Ministers of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) from 2020 to 2022, leading strategic responses to security crises, democratic transitions and regional institutional reform. She played a key role in the passage of landmark UN Security Council Resolution 2667 in 2022, enabling the financing of African Union-led peace operations — a historic achievement during Ghana’s tenure as a non-permanent member of the Council.
She also helped secure UN Resolution 2634 addressing piracy and maritime security in the Gulf of Guinea and was instrumental in shaping Ghana’s high-profile “Year of Return” and “Beyond the Return” initiatives, strengthening cultural and economic ties with the global African diaspora.
Earlier in her career, she served as Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, Information, and Trade and Industry, during President John Agyekum Kufuor’s administration (2001–2009). From 2005 to 2021, she was a Member of Parliament for the Weija and later Anyaa-Sowutuom constituencies, representing the largest population base in Ghana’s legislature across four consecutive terms.
Prior to entering politics, Shirley Botchwey led a successful marketing and communications firm and served as a consultant in the tourism sector.
Secretary-General Botchwey is a qualified Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana and holds extensive academic and professional credentials, including: Executive MBA (Project Management), University of Ghana Business School, Legon; Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (LPC), The University of Law, UK; MA in Public Communications and Public Relations, University of Westminster, UK; Bachelor of Laws (LLB), University of London, UK.
GABRIEL BOTTINI is a partner at the Madrid office of Uría Menéndez and co-head of the firm’s international arbitration and litigation group. He is the former National Director of International Affairs and Disputes of the Treasury Attorney-General’s Office of Argentina. Mr Bottini has extensive experience as counsel and arbitrator before ICSID, UNCITRAL, and ICC arbitral tribunals. Mr Bottini teaches public international law at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has lectured at many universities and international organizations around the world on issues of international law and has published extensively in the field. He has been awarded scholarships by the Fulbright Commission and other international institutions. Mr Bottini holds a law degree magna cum laude from the University of Buenos Aires, an LLM from New York University School of Law, and a PhD from Cambridge University.
Kimberley Botwright is the Head of Sustainable Trade at the World Economic Forum.
Previously, she has worked at the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD,) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
Kimberley holds an M.A. in European Economics and Policy from l’Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po) and a B.A. from the University of Oxford. She is fluent in English and French, and is a citizen of the UK and Switzerland.
Jean Bouquot became IFAC Deputy President in November 2022. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Bouqout joined the IFAC Board in November 2020, nominated by Compagnie Nationale des Commissaires aux Comptes (CNCC) and Conseil Supérieur de l'Ordre des Experts-Comptables.
Mr. Bouquot was the president of CNCC from February 2017 to October 2020. From December 2012 to December 2014, he was vice-chairman of the Compagnie Régionale des Commissaires aux Comptes de Versailles (regional statutory auditors professional body) and member of the CNCC. From 2014 until 2016, he was chairman of the Compagnie Régionale des Commissaires aux Comptes de Versailles and in February 2015, he was appointed Board Member of the CNCC.
Partner at EY until October 2020, Mr. Bouquot was an audit partner since 1992 and has 40 years of experience, at Arthur Andersen from 1980 to 2002 and then EY. He was also in charge of assurance service line for France/Luxembourg/Maghreb from 2008 to 2015.
Mr. Bouquot attended HEC business school and Institut d'Etudes Politiques of Paris. He is an expert-comptable and commissaire aux comptes. He also served as a reserve colonel in the French Air Force from 2008 to 2020, including attending the Auditor 59 session at the Institut des Hautes Etudes de la Défense Nationale.

Stéphanie Bouziges-Eschmann is Secretary General of the French Facility for Global Environment (FFEM), since September 2018.
AgroParisTech alumni, with 20 years of experience, mainly for the French Ministry of Economy and the French Agency for Development (AFD), she is specialized on development issues, and sustainable agriculture and energy sectors. She is devoted to reconcile environment preservation and development in an innovative way.

Mark Bowman is EBRD Vice President for Policy and Partnerships and joined the Bank in October 2021.
Prior to arriving at the EBRD, Mr Bowman was Director General International Finance at the UK Treasury, with oversight of international and European Union (EU) policy. He led engagement with foreign finance ministries and central banks and was the Chancellor of the Exchequer’s deputy at the G7, G20 and International Monetary Fund (IMF). He also had responsibility for UK policy and engagement with the multilateral development banks, including the EBRD and Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (and was the UK chief negotiator in discussions on establishing the AIIB).
Until 2019 Mr Bowman was the UK representative on the EU’s Economic and Financial Committee and chaired the sub-committee on IMF issues. He subsequently led the UK Treasury’s work on EU exit and was a member of the UK team negotiating the Withdrawal Agreement. He was also a member of the Treasury’s Executive Management Board.
Mr Bowman started his career as an Overseas Development Institute Fellow, working in the Mozambican Ministry of Planning and Finance. He joined the UK Treasury in 1995 and held a number of positions there, covering both domestic and international economic policy, including Principal Private Secretary to the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Director International Finance, and Director Strategy, Planning and Budget.
He also worked for two years in the Department for International Development (DFID) as Director General Humanitarian, Security and International Finance, with oversight of the DFID’s humanitarian programmes, its work in the Middle East and relations with the World Bank.
Mr Bowman has an economics degree from the University of Bristol, and a masters degree in development economics from the University of Warwick.
Swayne Boyce is a Music Producer. Better known as Cjuh, he was born in 1992. Swayne found freedom in music while incarcerated. Hailing from, Black Rock, St. Michael and Parish Land Christ Church, he attended Deacons Primary and Ellerslie Secondary School. He took up music while incarcerated as a youth at 14 years old, and developed, becoming a member of a group called Scenes Entourage in 2011 to 2014. He currently has grossed over 30 million YouTube views as a music producer. To date, he has worked with the likes of LR, Chief Diin, SK, RSG. Galang (R.I.P), Saddis, Leadpipe, Rebel 6 (R.I.P.), K LION (R.I.P.), Medz Boss and many others from Trinidad. Cjuh is responsible for the most recent resurgence in Bajan Dancehall music and is credited for bringing the Trinidad and Barbados Dancehall movements together in 2019 and 2020. Most recently, Cjuh is an upcoming recording artist.
