

Daniel Bertossa is Assistant General Secretary at PSI where he manages policy, advocacy and governance.
He leads PSI's economic policy work in trade, tax, debt and the future of quality public services. Danny has worked as an organiser and national officer for unions in Australia and the UK covering local government and municipal workers, health and social services, education and private sector service workers, where he lead multiple campaigns for better pay and job security, and against outsourcing and precarious work.
He was previously Director of Policy and Strategy at the Department of Premier and Cabinet in the Government of South Australia. Prior to that he was Ministerial Advisor for Public Sector Management, Local Government and Planning, Aboriginal Affairs and Family and Community Services.
Danny is currently the co-chair of the steering committee of the Independent Commission on Reform of International Corporate Tax (ICRICT), member of the Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI) tax Technical Committee, member of the Centre for Research on Employment and Work (CREW) advisory board at the University of Greenwich and member of the committee of the Centre for International Corporate Tax Accountability and Research (CICTAR).
Laura is active internationally in research, policy advocacy and ideation with a focus on sustainability and consumer protection, within a one planet conceptualization. She honed this expertise by serving as an adjudicative member of the National Consumer Tribunal [South Africa]. Particular interests are gender inclusion and indigenous consumer redress systems. She is active in higher education, the non-profit sector, women’s empowerment, gender transformation and mentorship. She has a PhD in Business Management.
Owen Bethell leads Nestlé’s global climate change and nature related advocacy, communications and stakeholder engagement activities. In this role, Owen shapes Nestlé’s interactions with multilateral institutions, national governments, business associations and other coalitions of action on the environmental agenda – supporting the company’s aim to advance regenerative food systems at scale. Prior to taking on this role, Owen headed up Nestlé’s global issue and crisis management function.

Stefano Betti is the Deputy Director General of the Transnational Alliance to Combat Illicit Trade (TRACIT). He has over twenty years of experience providing legal and policy advice to governments and international organizations on global security and criminal policy matters. He collaborates with several United Nations entities on projects related to counter-terrorism, corruption and organized crime.
From 2013 to 2016, he was Senior Counsel at INTERPOL's Office of Legal Affairs. Between 2002 and 2013, he worked at UNODC, where he provided technical assistance for the implementation of criminal justice treaties worldwide.
Mr. Betti holds an MSc in “European Studies” from the London School of Economics and a Law degree from the University of Milan. He is an Associate Fellow of the International Institute for Strategic Studies.

Ritu Bharadwaj is the Director of Climate Resilience, Finance, and Loss and Damage at the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED).
With over 20 years of experience in policy development, research, and management across government, funding agencies, and international NGOs, she has extensively worked on climate resilience, resource conservation, social protection, migration, and gender issues.
Ritu has led initiatives addressing climate adaptation, debt sustainability, and locally led adaptation efforts, particularly in Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and Least Developed Countries (LDCs).
Her work has significantly influenced policy frameworks and strategies for national governments and international organisations. She has also facilitated high-level engagements with world leaders and international bodies to drive climate finance and equity-focused solutions.

Mr. Dinesh Bhattarai is the Secretary (Commerce and Supplies) at Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies of Nepal. Before joining the Ministry, he worked as the Principal Secretary in Province Number 1 of Nepal.
Mr. Bhattarai started his civil service career in 2053 B.S. (1996 AD) as a Section Officer. Being promoted to Joint Secretary, he worked in the capacity of the Chief Immigration Officer at Tribhuvan International Airport, Director General at Department of Tourism and Chief District Officer of various districts of Nepal. He also served as the Division Chief of Industrial and Investment Promotion Division of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies.
Mr. Bhattarai holds a Master of Philosophy from Tribhuvan University. In 2021, he was conferred with Suprabal Jana Sewa Shree by the President of Nepal, appreciating the contribution he made to the civil service of Nepal.
Surjit is Member Customs, CBIC and Special Secretary to the Government of India, having previously served as Director in Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers.
Born in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, Surjit, an IIT Delhi alumnus, holds a Masters in Chemistry and Modern Methods in Chemical Analysis and an MBA in Public Policy and Business Administration from the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia.
His wildlife preservation commitment is evident through his Master's thesis on Tiger Reserve management. He served as a Jury Member for Earth Heroes Awards and India Sustainability Awards and actively participated in field-level biodiversity conservation activities. He chaired Study Groups on Intelligence Apparatus Modernization, Arrests under Central Excise Law and Customs, Role of Customs in Wildlife Preservation, and Customs modernization.
As an IRS officer of the 1989 Batch, he served in New Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Bangalore, notably in the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence and Directorate of GST Intelligence.
