UNCTAD’s Trade Policy Dialogue, launched in September 2020, seeks to reinforce UNCTAD’s engagement with member States by providing a forum for informal, candid and focused discussion on topical issues in international trade policy from a development perspective.
Elements of a policy mix for trade-led recovery: Services, creative economy, and
making the best of trade agreements
This session will invite the member States of G77 and China to discuss major elements of a policy mix that would be required for their dynamic and inclusive economic recovery in the post-COVID-19 new normal and exchange views on the possible contributions of UNCTAD to those efforts.
The discussion is expected to help the secretariat to better appreciate key trade policy concerns of G77 and China, and conduct internal reflections to improve its work, including in the light of UNCTAD 15.
Organized by the Division on International Trade and Commodities (DITC) in cooperation with the Group of 77 & China.
