Chris is has more than 30 years' experience in project and export finance across emerging markets and currently serves as Managing Partner and Head of Origination at Acre Impact Capital.
Prior to joining Acre, Chris was Head of Export Finance at Investec Bank based in London where he founded the business in 2010, advising and arranging export & agency finance for project and sovereign infrastructure projects in Africa, growing the business to be a leading arranger on the continent.
Before Investec, Chris was Global Head of Export Finance at ANZ Bank based Singapore. He joined ANZ in London in 1988 before moving to Melbourne, Sydney and finally Singapore in a variety of roles including risk, project finance and structure trade and export finance.
Since 2019 Chris is Co-Chair of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Export Finance Sustainability Working Group and serves on the Loan Markets Association Executive Committee for the ECA Working Party.
Chris is a regular contributor to and presenter at the export finance industry forums including the Berne Union and OECD as well as at industry events including TXF and Global Trade Review.
Panos Mitrou has been with LR for 19 years and currently holds the position of Global Gas Segment Director, based in Athens Greece. His primary focus is on the maritime gas supply chains, LNG, LPG and other gas commodities and fuels, as well as gas floating solutions, delivering an enhanced service portfolio to the shipping community.
In the past he has held various commercial and technology positions. Since 2012 he has been deeply involved in the setup and materialization of several funded projects related to alternative fuels and innovation in the maritime sector. In 2013, he has initiated Poseidon Med, a key cross-border European project, introducing LNG bunkering in Eastern Mediterranean maritime transportation.
Panos represents LR in a number of gas associations. He chairs the Methane Abatement in Maritime Alliance and the Marine Working Group of the -World LPG Association. He is a member of the Board at SEA-LNG and the Global Gas Center and a member of the Environmental Committee at SGMF. He is also chairing WG31 at SGMF tasked with Methane Slip Measurement.
Panos holds a Naval Architect and Marine Engineer Diploma from NTUA and an MBA in Shipping from ALBA Business School. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers. He is also a PhD candidate in Naval Architecture, Ocean and Marine Engineering, at University of Strathclyde with focus on optimizing the shipping transition pathway.

Mr Shingo Miyake, a national of Japan, joined the ILO Decent Work Team and Office for the Caribbean in July 2015, as Labour Law and International Labour Standards Specialist. He assists governments, employers'; and workers'; organizations to improve their labour legislation.
Mr Miyake joined the ILO in 2001 and has been working in the field of international labour standards since then. He has worked as a Legal Officer at ILO Headquarters in Geneva for over 11 years. He also served at the ILO Sub-Regional Office for South-East Asia and the Pacific in Manila, the Philippines, and at the ILO Office in Jakarta, Indonesia.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in International and a Master of Laws degree.

Dr. Leonard Mizzi is Head of Unit at the European Commission, Directorate-General (DG) for International Partnerships - Sustainable Agri-Food systems and Fisheries, since 1st of January 2017. Prior to this post he was Head of Unit for 10 years in DG Agriculture and Rural Development, first in charge of agri trade and development issues (2007-2014) and from 2015-2016 leading the inter institutional unit hence relations with the European Parliament, Council and consultative bodies and well as steering the Civil Dialogue Groups.
He is a graduate in Public Administration from the University of Malta (BA Hons First Class); and has degrees from CIHEAM-Montpellier (Master of Science) and a Ph.D in Agricultural economics from the University of Reading (UK). He has been an author of a number of articles and publications on agri food issues and nutrition in the Mediterranean region.
Dr. Mizzi has a broad working experience in the Maltese public administration and the Maltese private sector. He first worked in the Economic Planning Division of the Office of the Prime Minister (Malta) and from 1996-2006 was the first Director of the Malta Business Bureau in Brussels- the office of the Malta Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise and the Malta Hotels and Restaurants Association.
He was also visiting lecturer at the Boston University (Brussels campus), Open University and Malta University. He often lectures at the College of Europe in Bruges.
His areas of specialisation are global food security governance, agriculture and food and nutrition security, the Mediterranean and Sub Saharan Africa.

Mr. Jacob Mkandawire is an Economist with vast experience in economic and financial management. He is currently the Director, Sovereign Debt Management Programme at the Macroeconomic and Financial Management Institute of Eastern and Southern Africa (MEFMI), a regional institution owned by 15 member countries with headquarters in Harare, Zimbabwe.
In this role, he is overseeing the programme's capacity development and technical assistance on debt and public finance management to MEFMI member countries. In previous roles, he led the 'Investment and Debt Management' department at the Ministry of Finance in Zambia, where he oversaw the sovereign debt portfolio and supervised state-owned enterprises portfolio.
He has also previously served as an assistant director in Financial Markets department of the Bank of Zambia taking charge of domestic market operations, a key monetary policy implementation and fiscal agent role at the Bank. Earlier, he served as Assistant to the Governor of the Bank of Zambia, supporting the Governor in executing the central bank functions.
Passionate about debt, fiscal and macroeconomic stability to support sustainable growth and management of risks to public finances, he drives innovative solutions to sovereign debt challenges and developing courses for capacity building in the Countries.

CPA Elvis Moenga is the Manager, Sustainability & Professional Standards at ICPAK, where he leads initiatives on financial reporting, public finance management, and sustainability. With over a decade of experience, including time at PwC, he has worked extensively in audit, accounting, and strategic financial advisory across both public and private sectors.
He serves on Kenya’s National Multisectoral Committee for Sustainability & Climate Change, contributing to the National Implementation Roadmap for IFRS S1 and S2 as well as the Sustainable Finance Initiative (SFI) which equips banks and financial institutions with tools and principles to integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations into lending and investment decisions. Elvis is passionate about integrating sustainability into financial processes to enhance accountability, resilience, and long-term value creation.

Dr. Tom Moerenhout is Executive Director of the Geneva Platform for Resilient Value Chains, and Professor at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, where he is Director of Critical Materials and Supply Chains at Columbia’s Center on Global Energy Policy. He also serves as Senior Advisor to the World Bank’s Energy and Extractives Global Practice and Senior Associate with the Intergovernmental Forum on Mining, Minerals, and Metals. He has held visiting professorships at NYU’s Stern School of Business, Sciences Po Paris, and the Geneva Graduate Institute.
Tom’s research and advisory work sits at the intersection of geopolitics, industrial policy, and global supply chains, particularly for energy transition technologies, critical minerals, and batteries. He focuses on the political economy of reform, strategic market design, and the role of public and private finance in supporting resilient, secure, and sustainable value chains. His work often involves high-level strategic analysis to align national policy objectives with private sector investment incentives.
He has published widely on critical materials, energy subsidies, and the economic transformation of resource-rich economies. His expertise has informed senior decision-makers across governments and institutions, including the White House, U.S. Departments of Energy and State, USTR, and policymakers in the EU, Canada, India, Indonesia, Nigeria, the DRC, Egypt, Iraq, Chile, and Brazil. He frequently collaborates with multilateral organizations such as the OECD, IEA, World Bank, UNCTAD, UNEP, OPEC, and IRENA, as well as several philanthropic foundations.
Tom holds two master’s degrees and earned his PhD from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. His academic background includes fellowships at the London School of Economics and the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies. He was previously awarded a Fulbright Scholarship, an Albert Gallatin Fellowship, and a Swiss National Science Foundation fellowship.
