Alfredo is Head of the World Economic Forum’s Ocean Action Agenda and Friends of Ocean Action. He has wide experience spearheading the creation of public-private partnerships to address pressing ocean challenges related to marine conservation and restoration, sustainable fisheries management, scaling up ocean innovation, and accelerating the transition of industries towards nature-positvie practices for the blue economy. His work has contributed to strengthening the role of science and technology in marine policy and business practices in several countries and to influence intergovernmental processes.
He holds a PhD in Oceanography from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography and a Bachelor in Science from Universidad Autonoma de Baja California, Mexico. He is a Roger Revelle awardee by the US National Academy of Sciences in 2021 for his contributions to global ocean policy.
Mr. Anderson Gitonga is a results focused and dynamic community development practitioner, who has successfully led multi-disciplinary teams in implementing community focused programs for the last twenty-five years, focusing on the persons with various disabilities.
Currently, he is the Inclusive Development Director at CBM Global Disability Inclusion, an International NGO that works on disability inclusion through development and humanitarian programming. Previously, he has held leadership positions as the Executive Officer at the United Disabled Persons of Kenya, (National Umbrella organisation for organisations of persons with disabilities), has held programmatic and leadership functions at Act Change Transform, Association for the Physically Disabled Persons of Kenya (APDK) among others
H.E. Mr. Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé is a Togolese politician who has been the president of Togo since 2005.
Before assuming the presidency, he was appointed by his father, President Gnassingbé Eyadéma, as Minister of Equipment, Mines, Posts, and Telecommunications, serving from 2003 to 2005.
Ms. Laure Gnassou is an experienced economist with a particular interest in developing economies and the macroeconomics of climate change, including the trade and climate change nexus. Prior to her experience with the United Nations (UN), Laure Gnassou worked at the European Parliament, the European Commission, the Central Bank of Finland Finland (the research department), and the French Ministry of Defense. She has 14 years of field experience in resource-rich countries in South America and Africa, such as Suriname, the DR Congo, and Burkina Faso. She holds a "Diplôme d’Etudes Approfondies" (Pre-PhD) in International Economics from Grenoble University, France.

Madame Zenaba Gninga Chaning est née en juillet 1988 à Libreville au Gabon d’une famille originaire de Mayumba, dans le sud du Gabon.
Son parcours scolaire et universitaire, sanctionné par une spécialisation en comptabilité, gestion et finances, la destine à l’environnement et au management des affaires.
Femme d’affaires engagée, entrepreneure accomplie, elle a fondé et dirigé plusieurs entreprises en France et au Gabon dans les secteurs de la vitrerie-miroiterie, de l’immobilier, de l’événementiel, de l’environnement cosmétique et de l’esthétique, en se distinguant par une volonté de contribuer à la création d’emplois et de soutenir les initiatives locales.
Candidate à l’élection présidentielle de 2025, elle s’est distinguée comme la seule femme en lice, portant un programme axé sur l’égalité, le développement et l’accès aux infrastructures sociales de base, l’éducation et la promotion de l’entrepreneuriat national.
Figure politique reconnue, elle est nommée depuis mai 2025 Ministre de l’Entrepreneuriat, du Commerce et des PME/PMI dans le premier Gouvernement de la Vème République Gabonaise.
En qualité de Membre du Gouvernement, elle consacre son magistère à susciter l’éclosion des jeunes talents en vue de la création de champions nationaux et à la promotion des bonnes pratiques commerciales pour contribuer à la tenue des engagements internationaux du Gabon.
Responsable politique de la province de la Nyanga, elle a été investie candidate de l’Union Démocratique des Bâtisseurs (UDB) pour les élections législative et locale du 27 septembre 2025 dans la Commune de Mayumba. Les résultats provisoires consacrent sa victoire en tant que Députée de ladite Commune.

Coromoto Godoy Calderón was appointed Minister of the People's Power for Foreign Trade of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in January 2025. Before that, she served as Deputy Minister for Europe at the Ministry of People's Power for Foreign Affairs.
Lawyer graduated from the Central University of Venezuela, she specializes in analysis, strategic planning, and negotiation. She has substantial experience as head of the Directorate-General for Europe and the Directorate-General for Consular Affairs and as an assistant to the Directorate-General of the Minister's Office and the Directorate-General for Cultural Affairs.
Her diplomatic experience includes responsibilities related to trade and tourism at the Venezuelan Embassy in Portugal and enrolls as the First Consul and Consul General in Florida (USA) and Recife (Brazil). Over the past decade, she has led various Venezuelan embassies as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.
As a career diplomat since 1993, Coromoto Godoy Calderón achieved the rank of Ambassador in 2012. She has handled a broad range of responsibilities both domestically and internationally, recently serving as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Spain (2023), India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Bangladesh (2019), and Trinidad and Tobago (2012). Between February 2024 and January 2025, she acted as Deputy Minister for Europe.
