

Dr. Deere Birkbeck is Director of the Forum on Trade, Environment and the SDGs (TESS), a partnership of the Geneva Graduate Institute and UNEP, where she leads the initiative’s work to foster inclusive international cooperation on trade and sustainability. Her recent research focuses on climate change and trade, where notably she has championed the idea of an inclusive Trade Ministers Coalition on Climate, as well as the global governance of plastics and plastic pollution. She is also an Associate Fellow of Chatham House. Dr. Deere Birkbeck is the founder and Board Chair of Global Policy Reporting, a Geneva-based non-profit organisation dedicated to open access and independent news reporting, which houses Health Policy Watch (launched in 2019) and Intellectual Property Watch for the prior 15 years. She also served as an Assistant Director at the Rockefeller Foundation in New York where she was responsible for grantmaking on intellectual property, trade and sustainable development. Previously, she worked for the Global Economic Governance Programme at the University of Oxford, the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD), and the Overseas Development Council.

Frédéric Degret is a Naval and Maritime engineer and expert in Blue Economy and Environmental Regeneration.
He is Chief Executive Officer of NOAH Regen, an international group offering ocean states a comprehensive solution to: fast-track their ecological transition, including tools for valuing their natural resources, unlocking new sources of income (such as carbon credits), attracting private funds, and tracing blended finance projects for maximum impact.
Having previously worked as a consultant for political coalitions (UE, Commonwealth of Nations) for Climate action plans and structuring Blue sustainable economic growth, as of January 2023 he has also been appointed UNWTO Secretary-General's Special Advisor on Ocean and Climate Action.

Magdalena del Pilar Vicuña Cevallos is Undersecretary of Government Accounting at the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Ecuador since May 18, 2012, in which position she makes decisions related to the stewardship of National Accounting in the Public Sector.
She has given presentations at UNCTAD-ISAR sessions (sessions 30 and 31) in Geneva, reporting on the results of the evaluation of the country's financial information through the application of the ADT tool, highlighting the progress of Government Accounting and Public Finance in Ecuador.
She is currently the focal point for Ecuador's Ministry of Economy and Finance for the project "Strengthening Sustainability Information to Promote Sustainable Finance and Investment in Selected Developing Countries in Asia and Latin America" with UNCTAD.



Thomas Deleuil is a Legal Officer at the Secretariat of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES).
Previously, he was a Legal Officer in the Corporate Services Division of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in Nairobi, Kenya; Legal Officer at the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity in Montreal, Canada; Associate Legal Officer in the Legal Office of the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) in Goma, DRC; Associate Legal Officer in the Office of Legal Affairs (OLA) of the United Nations in New York, USA; and Legal Officer at the Division of Legal Affairs of the French Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Paris, France. Thomas is an international expert with more than 10 years of experience on legal and environmental issues.
He has lectured on public international law, international and comparative environmental law, climate law, peacekeeping, and environment in armed conflicts the University of Aix-Marseille, Université Saint-Denis Paris 8, University of Lyon II (France), the University of Edinburgh (United Kingdom), the Laval University, UQAM and University of Sherbrooke (Canada), as well as the Saint-Cyr Military Academy (France).
He holds a PhD in international and environmental law and an LLM in public international law from the University of Aix-Marseille, France.
Borkhuu Delgersaikhan currently serves as the Minister of Roads and Transport of Mongolia.
Previous positions include: Member of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia (2016-2020); Director, “Bold tumur Yuruu Gol” LLC (2004-2015); Founder, “Dorniin Gobi” LLC (1993-2016); Senior investigator and Chief of Unit, Police department of Dornod aimag (1989-1992); and Investigator, Police department of Dornogobi aimag (1987-1989).
Mr. Delgersaikhan holds a BA in Legal studies from the Military Institute of Mongolia.
Nathalie Delorme serves as Associate Political Affairs Officer at the Beyond Lab, where she advances key policy initiatives, strategic planning, and multistakeholder partnerships for sustainable development. She leads the Youth Moving Beyond GDP initiative, fostering intergenerational equity to redesign economic systems for long-term sustainability, as well as the Spillover Innovation Learning Journey, which operationalizes global solidarity through knowledge exchange and peer learning.
Nathalie joined the United Nations in 2019 and has held various positions at the SDG Strategy Hub in the UN Office for Partnerships, at UN Women Headquarters and in Morocco, and at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), focusing on multistakeholder collaboration and sustainable development policy.
