
Jennifer Doherty-Bigara Rodríguez is a Senior climate change specialist at the Inter-American Development Bank, based in Barbados. Her main role consists in advising and mainstreaming climate change policy recommendations in the portfolio with the Government as well as enhancing their impact through strategic initiatives.
With over fifteen years of experience in the sustainability agenda, she has focused on climate governance and national and local climate change policies, fiscal policy and green budgeting, climate finance and long-term planning exercises with an adaptation approach.
Previously, she worked on the IDB portfolio of Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay, from 2016-2019, and was at the Agence Française de Développement (AFD), coordinating the efforts of the Adapt 'Action Platform in the Gulf of Guinea and the Indian Ocean from 2019-2021.
Jennifer holds a master´s in International Development Policy from the McCourt School of Public Policy, University of Georgetown and a Master's in International Affairs from Sciences Po Toulouse.
Dr. Alue Dohong obtained a PhD degree in Environmental Management from Queensland University, Australia in 2016.
Before resuming his post as the Vice Minister of Environment and Forestry in October 2019, he was the Deputy for Construction, Operation and Maintenance at the Peatland Restoration Agency.
Since 1994 Dr. Alue Dohong was a lecturer at Palangkaraya University, Central Kalimantan. He has been serving as consultant/advisor and research associate of a number of national and international organizations/initiatives working on peatlands, especially in Central Kalimantan. He is also a member of Society of Ecological Restoration since 2017 and Steering Committee of Global Peatland Initiative.
In 2007, Dr. Alue Dohong was awarded the Wetlands International President’s Medal for Staff Excellence, in providing outstanding leadership in Wetland Management and for developing relationship with and encouraging the involvement of local stakeholders. In 2021, he was awarded the Australia Awards Indonesia Alumnus of the Year in recognition of his leadership and ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability in Indonesia. After that, in 2022, he was awarded the International Alumnus of the Year for outstanding contributions to the protection of threatened ecosystems.

Sofia Dominguez is an Associate Economic Affairs Officer in the Division on International Trade and Commodities at UNCTAD. She specializes in economic research focused on development topics related to commodity dependence and commodity-dependent countries. Sofia has contributed to multiple publications covering a range of topics including diversification and inequality, value addition, and trade dynamics along critical mineral value chains. These publications shed light on pressing issues within the field. She holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Warwick.
Edmé Domínguez R. is Chairwomen of GADIP (Gender and Development in Practice) and Associate Professor in Peace and Development Studies, and member of the board of WIDE+, where she also coordinates the working group of Gender and Trade.
She was born in Mexico, but resides in Sweden, she has a BA in International Relations from El Colegio de México and a PhD from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques (IEP), Paris, France. At present she works as lecturer in Latin American Studies, Gender studies and Global Political Economy at the School of Global Studies, University of Gothenburg.
During the last 20 years she has been working and publishing on the social and gender implications of NAFTA for Mexico, on gender issues related to citizenship, political participation, labour, transnational activism and free trade agreements particularly in the case of Mexico, El Salvador and Bolivia.
Mr. Arsenio Dominguez Velasco is Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization. He joined the IMO Secretariat in 2017 as Chief of Staff. In 2020 he was appointed as Director of the Organization's Administrative Division and in 2022 he was appointed Director of the Marine Environment Division.
Mr. Dominguez has extensive experience in the maritime sector, closely related to the work of IMO, and chaired the Marine Environment Protection Committee (MEPC) from 2014 to 2017.
Prior to his current post, Mr. Dominguez was the Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Panama to IMO, as well as the International Labour Organisation (ILO), the International Oil Pollution Compensation Funds (IOPC Funds) and the International Mobile Satellite Organisation (IMSO) from 1998 to 2017.
Mr. Dominguez holds a Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture from Universidad Veracruzana in Mexico. He obtained an MBA in Management at University of Hull and a Certificate of Higher Education in International Law and European Politics from Birkbeck University in England.


Mr. Çetin Ali Dönmez has been serving as Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye since 31 July 2018. He has been the investment committee member of Turkish Growth and Innovation Fund since 21 December 2018.

Mr. Dönmez is a graduate of Istanbul Pertevniyal High School. He received B.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering in 1989, Master of Arts degree in 1992 and Finance Ph.D. degree in 2006 from Bogaziçi University.

Claire’s background is in the fund management industry and in equity capital markets, working with private and listed companies and in particular with a sustainability focus. Claire is a member of an industry Taskforce on the Scaling of Voluntary Carbon Markets.
