At COP30, UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD) will spotlight how trade, investment and finance can drive a just and climate-resilient economic transformation.
We will advocate for national climate action plans that leverage opportunities for low-carbon growth, economic diversification and sustainable value chains.
We will call for boosting investment and reforming the international financial architecture to mobilize finance at the scale developing countries need for a sustainable future.
Climate finance must break the cycle that leaves those most vulnerable to disaster least able to respond. Nationally determined contributions should guide the sectors, technologies and markets that drive low-carbon growth.
